Where is rajasthan located?

Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful place in india. It is located on the northwestern side of India,where it comprises most of the wide and Inhospitable that desert (also known as the “great indian desert")and shares a border with the Pakistana provinces of Punjab to the northwest and sindh to the west,along the sutlej-indus river valley.

There has been a significant increase in the number of tourists coming to the state in last three years. in 2017,475.27 lakh tourists came to Rajasthan which was jump of 10.5% from the previous year.Tourists visits Rajasthan for seeing and experiencing the culture and tradition of old days in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is considered as one of the most  beautiful place in India for Destination Wedding.




Udaipur is one of the most popular city in Rajasthan for collection of it's monuments. The platforms and walls of the station is neat and clean, the walls of the station is designed with old Indian Mud art , even the walls of each road is painted beautifully with Rajasthani art. The print of horses ,camels and elephant is very common there, you will get to see it in clothes,mojris, hand bags and even in bed sheets. the people of Rajasthan decorates the outer wall of their house with the painting of horses, elephants, camels,king with his queen and many more. 


 





The Traditional Meal In Rajasthan:-

the traditional meal of Rajasthan is quite spicy and even most of them are made up of curd. The interesting dish you will find their is “food of Rajasthan, it has a great taste. If you get in a traditional restaurant , you will find a collection of several dishes in one plate which is also known as “Rajasthaani Thaali".  



The Monuments And Places To Visit In Udaipur(Rajasthan):-

The very interesting thing about Rajasthan is ,it's  monuments with their different history, there are more than three to four monuments including : 

1. The Bhaangar fort (which is 300km away from Udaipur and know as Haunted Fort as per the people).

2.City Palace (which is the fort of King “Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj". Which is now represented as “City Palace" . So people could look the history of “Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj"). 

3.Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace :- The Monsoon Palace, also known as the “Sajjan Garh Palace"in hilltop palatial residence in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan in India , overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. (It is named “Sajjangarh " after Maharaj Sajjan Singh of the Mewar Dynasty, who it was built for in 1884). 

4.Bagore ki haveli :- Shri Amarchand Badwa, who served as the Prime minister of the Mewar kingdom during the region of Maharanas Pratap Singh ||, Raj Singh||, Ari Singh , and Hamid Singh from the period of 1751 to 1778,built Bagore ki haveli . Following the death of Amarchand Badwa, the haveli came under the possession of Mewar royal family and become the abode of Nath Singh, a relative of the then Maharana. 

5. Jagdish Temple:-Jagdish Temple is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan,just outside the royal palace.It has been in continuous worship since 1659. 

6. Haldi Ghaati :- Haldi Ghaati is also known for its charity rose product and the mud art of Molela. 

7. Lake pichola :- It is an artificial fresh water lake , created in the year 1362AD , named after the nearby Picholi village. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur 

City.

8. Saheliyo -ki-Bari :- it is a major garden and a popular tourist space in Udaipur in the states of Rajasthan. It lies in northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool and a marble elephant. It was built by Rana Sangram Singh .

9. Ambrai Ghat :- it is situated near the waterfront of lake pichola in Udaipur. It is situated opposite to the Gangaur Ghat , near the Jagdish Chowk area. 

10. Ahar Museum:- The Ahar Cenotaphs are a group of Cenotaph located in Ahar, Rajasthan, about 2 km east of Udaipur,in Rajasthan, India. The site contains more than 250 cenotaphs of the Maharanas of Mewar that were built over approximately 350 years. There are 19 chhatris that commemorate the 19 Maharanas who were cremated here. 





Traditional Rajasthani Dresses

Dhoti and Pajamas are worn by the men . Dhoti and Pajamas are used to cover the lower portion of the body . Mostly white, dhotis are not comfortable to wear and need some practice. But people in Rajasthan wear cotton dhotis on a regular basis . For special events they prefer a silk one or the no no one with zari border or embroidery. 



Ghaghara & Choli 

This long skirt narrow waist and broad base , reaching just above the ankles covering the lower portion of the body. It is short to provide visibility to the foot ornaments. They come in many prints and colours. There are many pleats and studded ornaments in the chunari. The blouses or short Kurtis which Rajasthani women wear is known as choli. 



The Miniature Paintings of Udaipur

The Miniature Paintings of Udaipur manage to display the raw but opulent culture of Rajasthan with ease . The paintings are made using a rigorous process which involves manufacturer of the pigment and colours from scratch. Very often, these paintings reflect real life events and are portrayals of such events.



Saying Rajasthan is one of the prettiest and colourful states of India won't be wrong. With olden cities like Jodhpur,Jaislamer, Jaipur and Udaipur, the state never ceases to amaze with it's old -world charm and beauty.
